Robert Leopold has an Electrical Engineering degree from M.I.T. and an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University. His unique combination of technical and business background gives him an unprecedented ability to understand the technology behind his clients' products and services as well as their total marketing environment.
Leopold creates marketing strategies and programs for a wide variety of clients who have technical products and services... ranging from computer software, hardware and networks, to electronic components, factory automation systems, industrial chemicals and medical instrumentation. In his capacity as a copywriter, Leopold writes virtually every type of communications material including news releases, feature articles, "backgrounder" white papers, ads, brochures, direct mail pieces, electronic media, training materials and technical documentation.
Prior to starting Technically Speaking, Leopold worked as an electrical engineer at two high-tech start-ups and held marketing positions in the telecommunications and test/instrumentation industries.
